Die IHL-Saison 2000/01 war die 56. und letzte Saison der International Hockey League , einer nordamerikanischen kleinen Profiliga. Elf Teams nahmen an der regulären Saison teil, und die Orlando Solar Bears gewannen ihren ersten Turner Cup . Nach der Saison traten sechs Teams (Admirals, Aeros, Griffins, Grizzles, Moose und Wolves) als Erweiterungsteams der American Hockey League bei. Die Cyclones schlossen sich der East Coast Hockey League an, in der sie zuvor von 1990 bis 1992 gespielt hatten. Die verbleibenden Teams stellten den Betrieb ein.
