Die Wahlen zum US-Senat 2004 in Indiana fanden am 2. November 2004 statt . Der amtierende demokratische US-Senator Evan Bayh gewann die Wiederwahl für eine zweite Amtszeit. Ab 2021 ist dies das letzte Mal, dass die Demokraten den Senatssitz der Klasse 3 von Indiana gewonnen haben. Bayh gewann 86 der 92 Bezirke des Staates.

Kampagne
Im September hatte Bayh 6,5 Millionen Dollar Bargeld zur Verfügung. Scotts Strategie, Bayh als zu liberal darzustellen, konnte sich nicht durchsetzen.
Anfang 2004 galt Bayh als ernsthafter Kandidat für die Vizepräsidentschaft als Vizepräsident von Massachusetts Senator John Kerry . Obwohl Bayh auf der letzten Shortlist stand, wurde stattdessen der Senator von North Carolina, John Edwards, ausgewählt.
