David Falconer Wells (* 11. Mai 1939) ist Distinguished Senior Research Professor am Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary . Er ist Autor mehrerer Bücher, in denen sich seine evangelische Theologie mit der modernen Welt beschäftigt. Er lehrte an der Trinity Evangelical Divinity School und war Academic Dean am Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary auf dem Campus Charlotte, North Carolina.

Wells erhielt seinen BD von der University of London ; Th.M. von der Trinity Evangelical Divinity School ; Ph.D. von der Universität Manchester (England); und war Postdoc-Forschungsstipendiat an der Yale Divinity School . Wells ist ein Ratsmitglied der Allianz der Bekennenden Evangelikalen . Er ist auch im Vorstand der Rafiki Foundation und Mitglied des Lausanner Komitees für Weltevangelisation.
