Dies ist eine Liste von Sheriffs und seit 1998 High Sheriffs von Worcestershire .
Der Sheriff ist das älteste weltliche Amt der Krone. Früher war der Sheriff der wichtigste Strafverfolgungsbeamte in der Grafschaft, aber im Laufe der Jahrhunderte wurden die meisten mit diesem Posten verbundenen Verantwortlichkeiten an andere Stellen verlagert oder sind jetzt nicht mehr vorhanden, so dass seine Funktionen heute weitgehend zeremoniell sind. Gemäß den Bestimmungen des Local Government Act 1972 wurde das früher als Sheriff bekannte Büro am 1. April 1974 in High Sheriff umbenannt .
Unter dem gleichen Gesetz wurden Herefordshire und Worcestershire zusammengelegt, um die neue Grafschaft Hereford und Worcester zu bilden , daher wurde das Amt des Sheriffs von Worcestershire durch das des High Sheriffs von Hereford und Worcester ersetzt . 1998 wurde die neue Grafschaft jedoch aufgelöst, Herefordshire und Worcestershire wiederhergestellt und die Büros des High Sheriff of Herefordshire und High Sheriff of Worcestershire geschaffen.
