In 94 Sitzungen seit 1897 führt UConn die Serie 52–34–8 an. Die Schulen trafen sich am 26. September 2009 in Rentschler Field , wobei UConn 52-10 gewann. Die beiden Teams trafen zuletzt 2018 in East Hartford aufeinander, wo UConn 56-49 gewann.

Ramnapping-Trophäe

Die Ramnapping Trophy wurde früher an den Gewinner des jährlichen Fußballspiels zwischen den beiden Schulen verliehen. Der Name der Trophäe stammt aus einer 1930er Jahren Tradition , wo ein paar UConn Studenten an den URI Campus und gehen würden Entführungs (oder in diesem Fall „Ramnap“) die Rhode Island Ram Maskottchen .

Die Trophäe wird gekrönt von einem Fußballspieler, der auf einem Fußball steht, der mit einem Widder geätzt ist, und einem Husky, der sich auf einem Fußballfeld gegenübersteht. Die Plakette am Sockel lautet: "Connecticut State v. Rhode Island State Football Series Trophy in Memory of the berühmten Ramnapping of 1934".
